OSX 10.1 Install problem
 

I get a message saying I need 10.2 to run PRO and to go get LW 4.8 instead. When I look for LW 4.8, I can't find it. I've tried installing the Mac Classic edition and even that doesnt work. I'm getting pretty frustrated considering I forked out money for this!
Any help would be great!:confused:

What OS do you have? and do you have LW running at the moment, and if so which one... why do you want to get pro? As for Classic I never got anything to run properly with it!

A little more information might help, as I don't understand exactly what your present situation is. Limewire basic 4.8.1for OSX is available on the network, but not from limewire.com

sorry... i'm running on OS X 10.1 and LimeWire isn't already running. I have a previous version of LW that opens in the Classic Environment if I try to open it but I dont use it because its annoying and I want to upgrade from the Classic version of LW.

also...what do mean its on the "network"? im not a hardcore computer user so I dont know how to access the network.

What I mean by the network is the Gnutella Network i.e. you can find it on Limewire, so if you can get your version of limewire to work enough to search for limewire 4.8.1 OSX.dmg and you can download it you should be OK . But like we both know, getting anything to work with Classic, is pretty much a miracle!

I'm running Mac OS 10.1.5 and I just downloaded LimeWire Basic. When I tried to install it, it said I needed Jaguar and to go to the website to get LimeWire 4.8, but it's not on the site. Where can I get it?
