Default Mac OSX 10.4 & LIMEWIRE PRO

hi, i use a powermac g4 with the new osx 10.4 with broadband, i've just upgraded my limewire pro to the latest, after around ten minutes on line it cuts me off, can you help?, countrygerry

Sounds odd--shouldn't happen unless there is a problem with your connection. Try again a few times, and leave LW running for more than 30 minutes.

If you are still having trouble, rule out: 1-ISP; 2-your Powermac and LimeWire settings; 3-the broadband connection device (ethernet modem, I'd guess) and anything like a airport or router in between the modem and your G4.

For the ISP, check that your broadband provider "allows unfiltered access to the gnutella network on port 6346." If the help desk says yes, check out the next steps or post back for more details.
