I'm not complaining about newer version, it's just when i upgrade to 4.10.0 and i try to use it, i notice some weird things.
The windows where i usually see the search files are GONE like if they are invisible. That doesn't happen with the previous version.
My question is... Do i need to delete the newer version and reinstall the previous one ?
I do really appreciate if anyone can give me some tips with this bugz problem... because i want to keep with the newer one.

Hi there I've got the same problem as you! Does anybody know how I can get uninstall Limewire and installing the whole package and not just writing over the top of the last program???

That fix is for Classic people! So if you don't have OS 9 on your system then you won't be able to run it anyway. Those fixes all refer to OS 9 & earlier. And I think also a little over the top with the reboots.

The 2 things I'd suggest you try are:

1. Delete your LW prefs found here:
/Users/your_username/Library/Preferences/LimeWire

2. Reinstall your Java using the "Offline" java installer for Jaguar: See Sticky at top of this section & link for Jaguar installation for link to appropriate installer.

did everything. java is up to date.

no change. results still invisible unless you click.

I'm afraid to tell that i follow every step you told us and nothing. app still having the same problem. sadly what i did was delete the 4.10.0 and install the older one. It works fine, but hope programmers fix that problem soon because i can see a lot of others users had the same problem as me.

where did you get the older version of limwire from???? As I would like to run the older version as well..... I have tried time and again to install 4.10 but it wont work... Is there any way I can download a older version of limewire????
