Try deleting your limewire preference folder GilouB4. It worked for me , [but I lost several incomplete downloads in the process] (G3 10.3.9) LW 4.10.0pro My symptoms were not quite the same, but it seemed every time I checked the computer after an 2 or 3 hours LW had quit.

I'm not sure bugs@limewire.com actually works at all
