Ilife 06 ..how to install in my Mac

I keep downloading Ilife 06 and when finished i try to install in my Mac , but cant , it says unrecognised version. When downloading it says ilife 06 DVD
it is dmg or sit....Can someone help me please . Thank you Sam...
