| Am a novice with the new intel imac and having trouble getting limewire. I can download LW ok but when I try to search a pop up tells me trying to connect and that's it. There is also a globe and wall icon saying firewall detected. When I go into system pref and sharing and click on firewall tab in new there is no option for Gnutella/Limewire. Very frustrating can anyone help sort this out. Cheers. |

| The instructions are all here Connection problems? Check here first! (click on link) & that includes OSX's firewall if you have it active. Also check your modem/router to ensure UPnP is enabled. If it doesn't support UPnP then port forwarding is probably the way to go. If you're using dial up, then this doesn't apply. |
