can somone help me AGAIN!!! i might sound abit dumb. my zip files from lime wire seem to get lost. what happens when i open a zip file? it unzips and i carnt fined it ??????

most are over 1mb and they still disaper. but i carnt understand, when i down load a program with lime wire, and most programs saiy osx, why are they windows? is this comman? i havnt bean able to use one program yet and im begining to loose faith.
