Exclamation limewire returns to installation menu everytime after downloading
Hello. I'm new to this whole mac and forum thing but I was wondering if anyone could help me. I have a ibook G4 and have been trying to install limewire on it for about a week. Everytime I install it, it says "Installation complete" but then when I click on the new limewire icon, the program will return to the main installation menu again. So I try to download it again and this repeats over and over. I'm getting very frustrated! How can I get limewire to work on my mac? Any help is greatly appreciated! Thank you

ok, I got mine to work. I went to applicatons, limewire, then limewire at login. That went through the rest of the stuff then opened. Hope this helps.

Yep that's the way. It looks like you both were clicking on the installer program thinking that was the actual program. Simply use the Go menu & choose applications & find Limewire there.
