Hello, I been using limewire now 4 over 4 years and this is the first problem I have had. I'm a Mac OS X 10.3.9 person and I just downloaded the newest version of limewire 4.12.11 and had the version 4.12.6. Now when I get done downloading it makes the old Mac OS 9 start up. Why is this doing that and how can I stop it? Any1 else having this problem? Also just want to say hello to all and would of joined the forum long ago, but never had problems that I needed to find help for. Thankx ahead of time.Nitegyp.

Hi Nitegyp.
Somehow your OS 10.3 has decided to open your files with a classic app. Just go to your downloads folder, click on a file that OSX thinks should open in Classic, and do a "Get Info" (command-I) on the file. In the part where it says "open with", change it to a OS X version of the program, and then use the "Open all files like this" checkbox so the new OS X program will be used instead of the Classic version.
