I have an iMac (the latest one made of aluminum...) It's running leopard. and I just downloaded limwire. Each time I try to open the program it crashes. Why is it crashing and how can I get it to work. I've been using limewire for years on my windows pc's...

i have the same problem!
my mac osx is 10.4.11. old limewire and new limewire (4.14) crashes since update to the new osx. i deleted the prefs, used apple+option+P+R, fixed and repaired volumesrights - always the same

I'm a long-time user of LimeWire. For some reason it keeps crashing (several times) when I try to load it. Then, after multiple attempts, it will load and usually stay stable. "Usually" means that I have also had a couple of times when it just closed right in the middle of using it. Anyone who can shed some light on this new "development" will be appreciated. Thanks. D
