![]() Hello everyone! For some reason LW is really slow on downloads with me (around 12 KB/s max), though the uploads reach up to (+100 KB/s) even with limited upload slots. I tried it with providing no upload slots but that seems to be slowing the download rate even further. I'm only downloading three BitTorrent files at the moment, one of them has up to 30 hosts, the others 2 to 6. I run on a Dual 2 GHz PowerPC G5 Mac with 10.4.9. My provider's bandwidth is 25600/2048 kbps and I have unlimited download. So what might be the problem? Any suggestions or ideas? Thanks in advance. |

![]() Typically downloads depend on the hosts providing the sources, so could just be slow sources (especially for the 2 - 6 torrents). However, the 30+ host torrent should be faster, so hard to say whether there's a problem with the setup. Don't think so, though, because the torrent setup in LW is supposed to handle the setup automatically. Check out the torrent preferences in LW, but I suspect all is good there. |
