Default mac 10.3.9 install issue

hey guys, I dl'd limewire a few days ago and overloaded my harddrive, it worked fine though and i ended up deleting it and moving stuff to an external... so I want to redownload lw. i've tried about a billion times. it dl's a .dmg file and gives me the screen to double click on "install limewire" so i do... and it opens a lime icon in my menu bar thing... it bounces once and closes... i've tried dl'ing it from different sources, all the same thing... I delete everything between each trial- i really like lw but now it won't work. also I tried to update my java- but its already at a level that should be compatible (esp as it worked 3 days ago)

mac osx 10.3.9

really frustrated, any help would be great.

dani

To get more info on the reason LW isn't opening, open your Utilities folder and run the Console.app when you try to get LW running.

You can paste the lines that look like they specify the error to help track down the problem

Use the Go menu on your tool bar in finder. Choose Utilities folder. Console will be listed around other items starting with C. Double click it to open it.

Have you seen Can't launch LW: Bouncing in Dock (click on link)
