Icon bounces and won't open
Why won't my Limewire open? It bounces a few times and then disappears. So does my Azureus. I think it started when I upgraded to Tiger. I'm running 10.4.9 with the latest Limewire. I found some old posts and tried to follow to no avail. I'm not sure they even apply anymore - they were from 2005. Tried upgrading Quicktime, didn't help. tried installing a java update but it said I need latest Java to upgrade! Tried installing a security update and it said it needs Java Web Start! Are these even what I need to do? Is there one thread that has all the steps to remedy this problem, or can someone explain? I'm not familiar with these things.
