Default java update?

alright- so i've tried everything- as i said in my last post, lw worked for me a week ago- I now have like 7 times the room on my hd as well and nothing!!!! i have java 1.4.2... trying to update, don't know how... little thing that i click- says no application to open it with... my software updater isnt finding it...

please help- I need java 1.5 for mac 10.3.9 i guess. (but i didnt a week ago?)

totally computer illiterate with stuff like this... the apple site says to open the utilities folder then "terminal"- not an option. so i'm lost. and very very fed-up, but i really just want lw.

:-(

Java 1.5 is only available for OSX 10.4 or later.

For OSX 10.3.9 you will need an earlier installer: Lime Wire » Download Out-Of-Date Installers

Yes ... apple gave up support for OSX 10.1 years ago, they no longer update java for it. You seem to have misread something, unless you are actually using a later operation system such as 10.4 or 10.5

Perhaps you could learn to type specifications without errors or reading what it the computer really says.
