Default Limewire created folder

Everytime I open LimeWire it creates a folder called 'Limewire' on my home folder. Is there any way to keep it from doing this. It's always empty and I just have to delete it. Am using OSX 10.4.11 on a new Mac Mini

Thanks

I have no idea why LW started doing that. It also sets itself into its own Applications folder. I don't like it either. And not sure what the purpose is.
