There are three Libraries on OS X.
Double-click the hard drive (not the home folder) to get the Library that contains the receipts folder. The file you need to delete is "Install LimeWire.pkg" And, btw, LOTR has detailed examples of how to find the file, and Frostwire shouldn't run slower than LimeWire, since FW is based on the same code.
