cannot open limewire on mac ibook g4
Saludos everybody, I am a new member and want to say hello!
 I have an Apple ibook G4 with OXS ver:10.5.8. I have downloaded Limewire OXS.dmg 5.5.8. or so it seems. Any way it loads onto the disk and I have the icon on the desk top. When try to open it it just blinks and thats it. Any suggestions to what I am doing wrong. Thanks for the help

You either need Mac OSX 10.6 else an intel computer for LW 5. Thus instead you will be limited to LW 4; http://www.gnutellaforums.com/mac-os...link-here.html
You will need to remove the newer installlimewire.pkg file from Receipts folder in order to install an older version of LW.

I had to move the old version of LW ( 4.18.8 .) from another laptop to this one. Now opens fine. Thanks, for the help.
