ok, i know this is going to sound like a dumb question but how do i update to the latest form of limewire? do i have to delete my old lime wire version? will that delete my entire lirbrary? When I update to my files carry over ?

it depends. if you are using the freeware version, go back and download the latest installer - you won't lose any of your downloaded files.

if you are using Pro, use the url that was emailed to you, and go back to the Pro download site.
