I have been having problems connecting to Gnutella and thought your "all mac issues solved" topic would help. I tried to download the original Gnutella 1.8 that I started with and am having the same problem..
My problem isn't solved.

Check in the "Connections" Forum. I can't find the exact thread, but what worked for me was, in the connections window (at the bottom), manually enter a host. Try: router4.limewire.com connect3.bearshare.net I found that I had more stable connections with the router4.limewire.com Good luck.
