Java Error Same Java Error as the other posts. Unstuffing IAClasses folder & putting in either Limewire or system folders does not work. Lamewire G3 Blue & White OS 9.2. 896mb Ram 3 drives total 150Gb |
I am haveing the same problem as every body else om my mac o/s 9.2 "unable to lunch Java application" whats going on? |
a humble solution Use Hotline to download someone else's older vers. Worked for me! I was downloading Ludacris' "move, bitch" within 10 minutes of my humble solution. I got the same ****: Fatal application error: unable to launch java application unable to locate the application's main class. The class 'com.limegroup.gnutella.gui.main' must be public and have 'public static void main(String[])' method. (LAX) good luck to all. |
Fatal Error. access to older version? Hotline?? I backup every other day, so older version was dumped, before I realized the new didn't work. Thanks for any help. |
After I installed LimeWire 2.7.7 I tried to open the LimeWire application and I got the same "Fatal Error." Could someone look in to this? Thanks |
Fatal error I'm in the same boat with this fatal error thing- and of course I had trashed my old copy. Can anyone tell me where to get an older version. What a bunch of crap. Obviously LAMEWIRE is just in it for the money these days. |
Download Here... I put the last usable version(2.73) for Classic on my idisk for download. Hope the link works. http://homepage.mac.com/WebObjects/F...cty=US&lang=en |
Nothing works I installed the nice new version of Limewire... I'm running Pro on an OS 9.2.2... and am getting the error message: Unable to locate the application's 'main' class. The class 'com.limegroup.gnutella.gui.Main' must be public and have a 'public static void main(String[])' method. (LAX) I uninstalled. I reinstalled. I manually deleted everything. I rebooted. Am now pissed off and on every mac forum there's been no response from anyone from Limewire |
see Blikum's post I used this version from the iDisk. Unzipped the class file and put copies in both system fold and LimeWire folder. Works! Thanks!!! |
We just fixed the "fatal error" problem in LimeWire 2.7.8. Sorry for the confusion! |
