So where do you go to get 2.7.9?

I went to my Pro download page, but I assume that the basic version (if that's what you need) is posted at the download page accessible from the main limewire page.

Last I read, only Pro and OSX are fixed. Not 9.x

For research purposes, i downloaded the basic version and it was version 2.7.9 and it opened. I didn't try any actual downloads, but it didn't crash and it seemed to be working okay.
Then I rei-nstalled, the pro, and thankfully, it worked, so I think we're all back in business. |

On reading my last post, I realize one point may not have been clear, i downloaded version for Mac OS 9.x. I'm running 9.2.2 and the basic version seemed to work.
This seems to be the end of this little crisis, so I want to thank everyone for their helpful posts |
