Default ZGNativeUtilLib?

"The application limewire could not be opened because ZGNativeUtilLib cannot be found"

What does that supposed to mean? I think that this is a major problem for limewire installation in macintosh computers but most people are not aware of it, because generally the installer simply quits without stating the name of the problem, that is the absence of the so called ZGNativeUtilLib.

After a clean installation of macOS 9 I was able to install and use limewire for once. Than the problem reappeared. "The application limewire could not be opened because ZGNativeUtilLib cannot be found" The installer (and the uninstaller) do not work anymore and when I try to open the extracted installer (bringing it onto the desktop from the trash) it says what its problem is ("The application limewire could not be opened because ZGNativeUtilLib cannot be found") Otherwise, the installer simply quits after its extraction.

Is there a solution? [Java (Apple MRJ) is working properly, by the way]

Default

I have the same problem, File >>ZGNativeUtilLib<< Not Found, on my iMac OS 9.0. See post 1/22/2003. Julie Z suggested I check the Apple forums. Nada. I had to reinstall OS from CD to boot, and still File >>ZGNativeUtilLib<< Not Found so I don't think it's an Apple file; it's a LimeWire file. You'd think a LimeWire developer somewhere would know about it.

Unhappy I think I have the same problem

If i try to install LW all the installer does is dump some files in trash folder and then quits without a proper explenation. Could this be the same problem? If it is: I think there are many of us with the same problem! So it might be time that some of those LW dev's out there take a look into this problem and come up with a solution because LW is a great app but if you can't use it...
