Something weird has happened, the playback of all my mp3's has suddenly started running in real player, when they used to play back in quicktime. I hate my realplayer cuz it sucks ! Is there anyway i can switch the playback of my mp3's back to quicktime??

Welcome to the LimeWire forums. I have had a similar problem some time ago. Here is the fix. Go to the Apple menu and come down to "Control Panels" then come down to "QuickTime Setttings." when it opens go to the pull down menu in QuickTime Settings and come down to "Bowser Plug-in." Next click "MIME Settings. . " and click the button that says "Use Defults" next click the ok button and quit QuickTime Settings. Then open LimeWire and see if it works. You said it sucks and you hate it, so wipe it off your system. That will elinimate your problem for sure.

what is up with this... i deleted every single thing that had to do with realplayer but when i download my mp3's they show up as realplayer files???? this is making me angry

Do what I told you to do in my first post again and restart your Mac and then try to download a song from LimeWire. I hope it works for you. Good luck.
