Default Does not load up :(

I recently downloaded Limewire for my Mac OS 9.2.2, but sadly, it doesn't seem to work. I downloaded it on to my desktop, and it has the words 'Limewiremac.bin' on it. I click on it, and it says, "The Document Limewiremac.bin cannot be opened because the application that created it cannot be found."

I downloaded it from Internet Explorer, and that is one above the Limewire download!

I really want to download music and the likes - and have tried several methods. I have taken away the 'bin' after downloading, and during it, and after taking it away during it, it turns into an Internet Explorer page. It then says, "Internet Explorer does not know how to upload this file." Then has the options of cancelling, doing it in a plug-in, or, alternatively, opening it up as a page.

None of them work. Can someone please help?

Welcome to the forums! What you need to do is this, first search for Stuffit Expander on your Mac using Sherlock 2, if nothing is found you will need to download a copy of Stuffit Expander. After you download and install it you will be able open the file and it should open fine. I hope this helps.

Thanks mate, I worked it out earlier, doing a 'Zip' file after it!

But... one problem, is music supposed to be heard after you download it? For example, I have just downloaded Ultrabeats 'Pretty Green Eyes', and once finished, I clicked on it and nothing happened.

My speakers are most certainly on.... what do I need to do?
