Yeah I checked the version tracker site..guess I'm on my own! Thanx for your advice man..if I find a solution I'll post it! Cheers. bassace yes but mac ace NOT! Have a feeling it's Java related. Oh for the days when file sharing meant lending someone a book!

I would tend to agree. With OS 9 or earlier Java was generally the issue. I was running LW version 2.x on a G3 OS 8.5 until May this year. I probably still have one or two versions of LW on CD-RW if you're desperate. I could email it to you. I can't remember what versions they might be but! If you want me to email it then PM me. It could take a few days to find though. I have over 200 cd-rw's plus dvd rw's. But I do tend to label & itemise my disks.

Try installing the english only version. I missed that point when you said you used the international installer. You don't need the international installer.
