![]() My friend uses a Mac OS 9.2 and would like to upgrade to limewire pro from his current free version, but wants to know if all his current searches, partial downloads and downloads he has stored there will be updated or if they will be lost. We just upgraded to limewire pro but with a windows platform, so I can't quite convince him that its probably the same for the Mac platform. Can anyone here please help answer this question so I can pass the message along to my friend? Thanks in advance!! |

![]() You're right that Pro (or any update) will update the existing setup, so all old settings and incompletes will continue as before. However, the Classic mac uses an old version of Java, and Apple is no longer updating Java for pre-OS X macs. Even LW has stopped trying to develop for Classic, so updating to Pro is probably not worth it. |
