Lord of the Rings has a distinguished reputation

Are you double-clicking the rar file or drag & drop onto stuffit expander? Try drag & drop. Also try rebooting & try it again. I've noticed sometimes Stuffit plays up if the system has been on for many days.

If you know someone with a windows set up, get them to expand it for you. It may turn out to be a problem with the actual rar file.
