Can't Connect - Please help!

I have just downloaded limewire onto my mac (10.4.9).
It opens up ok, but when I type a search nothing at all comes up.
There is a brick wall infront of the globe so I'm guessing this is something to do with a firewall but I cant seem to get round it.
Please help!!!

You think that's bad. I bought limewire pro and have been using on my Mac on OS9.2 for some time and now suddenly, it crashed and no matter what I do I can't connect at all. HELP anyone??????

We need these details from both of you System details - help us to help you (click on blue link), then we shall see if we can see a problem.

For OS 9, make sure LW is closed, then delete the LW prefs folder found here:
Macintosh HD/System Folder/Preferences/.limewire
If you put the folder into list mode you will find them at top of folder.
