Hello. I'm sort of a "n00b" with this, so bare with me.

I have a new Apple iBook G4 (Mac 0S X). When I was installing Limewire, it asked what kind of internet connection I was using. The first time, I chose the top option, then the second time I chose the 2nd option. (Sorry--I don't remember the names, but one of them was called "Cable/DSL" or something, and maybe the other was called "Broadband"?) Anyway, I didn't know which one to choose. We have an airport, if that helps.

Anyway, after I picked both of them, I tried to look up a song. But then a notice came up that said that I had to connect first by going to "File", then "Connect". So, I did. There was one green bar, and it said, "Connecting" and below it, it said, "Sharing 0 files". It just stayed like this until it finally seemed to give up on it. (It said, "Disconnect...", then said, "Disconnected".)

All in all, I need some help with connecting to Limewire with my Apple computer, and what to do to fix the problem.

Airport may need to be set up also.

Thanks so much for replying, but I got it figured out.

I had an older version of Limewire, so I decided to download the newest version to see if it would help anything, and it did. Everything now works fine.
