So I keep installing and upgrading with the program, but when I'm finished and it says that it has been succesfully installed nothing happens and I have to resrt my process. I've tried restarting, but nothing happens!!

My guess is you sorted this problem. But a common mistake for those who are new to mac is they keep clicking the installer on the desktop & not checking to find LW program in their applications folder. Use to Desktop menu bar GO menu to get to Applications folder.
