To aid helpers in solving download/upload problems, LimeWire and Frostwire users must specify whether they are downloading a torrent file or a file from the Gnutella network. Members need to supply these details >>> System details - help us to help you (click on blue link) Moderators There are senior members on the forums who serve as Moderators. These volunteers keep the board organized and moving. Moderators are authorized to: (in order of increasing severity) Move posts to the correct forums. Many times, members post in the wrong forum. These off-topic posts may impede the normal operation of the forum. Edit posts. Moderators will edit posts that are offensive or break any of the House Rules. Delete posts. Posts that cannot be edited to comply with the House Rules will be deleted. Restrict members. This is one of the last punishments before a member is banned. Restrictions may include placing all new posts in a moderation queue or temporarily banning the offender. Ban members. The most severe punishment. Three or more moderators or administrators must agree to the ban for this action to occur. If you see a post in the wrong forum or in violation of the House Rules, please contact a moderator via Private Message or the "Report this post to a moderator" link at the bottom of every post. Please do not respond directly to the member - a moderator will do what is required. 8. Attempts to set up dual accounts will most likely result in a banning of all forum accounts. 14. Video links may only be posted after you have a tally of two forum posts.  LimeWire The best there is! Beste mensen; Velen zijn verdeeld over de goede werking,en de resultaten van LimeWire pro v5.0.0.0 In het verleden was het beduidend minder,met andere (Lagere) versies van LimeWire. Zelf ben ik uiterst lovend over deze nieuwe zoekmachine,de versie 5.0.0.0.Bijna direct na het aansluiten word er al contact gemaakt,en wat de zoekresultaten betreft; Altijd prijs!Al die andere zoekmachines van mij,leggen het meestal wel af tegen LimeWire Pro v5.0.0.0, zoals KaZaA Lite K ++,Bearshare v4.5.1.13 Pro,iMesh v5.0,eDonkey v2.0.0.0 Pro,Morpheus v4.71,shareaza,WinMx,en Piolet! Gewoon een kwestie van op de juiste wijze installeren,wij werken met Windows XP Professional. Zijn er nog meer mensen met goede ervaringen met LimeWire Pro 5.0.0.0? Groetjes; BigLJohn.  |

| 5.0.0.0 ?? Kun je de link geven waar je die versie vandaan hebt. Volgens mij is 4.8.1 de laatste versie, ook als beta |

| LimeWire 5.0.0.0 Ja het is raar!In de Set-up staat de versie 5.0.0.0 vermeld. In de uitgepakte versie 4.0.3.Ik heb deze zgn Full Version uitvoering gedownload van een van mijn Peer to Peer zoekmachines.Aan versienummers moet je je eigen niet gaan ophangen.Mijn ervaring van jaren is, dat je er soms niet zeker van bent welke versie je nu te pakken hebt.Dit euvel komt regelmatig voor(De verschillende versienummers,tussen de Set-up,en de uitgepakte versie). |

| BigLJohn, 5.0.0.0....... tja je kunt een bestand elke naam geven die je wilt maar er blijkt dus gewoon een oude versie in te zitten. Als ik jou was zou ik er toch maar voorzichtig mee zijn, want waarom zou iemand versie 4.0.3 aanbieden als pro 5.0.0 upload die zelfs nog niet bestaat ? Ik wil maar zeggen, als je b.v. een antivirus crack download heb je ook veel kans dat er een onaangename verassing inzit........ Je kunt het beste de laatste versie (4.8.1) gebruiken, limewire word voortdurend verder onwikkeld en ge-finetuned. Bovedien was er sprake van een veiligheidslek in de versies voor 4.8 zie dit verhaal. Het maakt trouwens niet zo heel veel uit of je de free of de pro versie gebruikt, in theorie is de pro beter omdat die met 5 ultrapeers verbinding maakt en de free met 3, maar in de praktijk (als je geen bijzondere dingen zoekt) zijn de verschillen te verwaarlozen. | Oude Versie? Een oudere versie,ja misschien,maar wel LimeWire Pro! Als ik LimeWire Pro opstart,staat in het programma logo - LIMEWIRE PRO - afgedrukt.Fabrieksmatig bedoel ik dan.En bij de Set-up staat bij versie 5.0.0.0.Je kunt de Set-up inderdaad een ander versienummer geven,maar met het tabblad - VERSIE - valt NIET te sjoemelen. Dit zit ingebakken in de hele Set-up structuur,door programma makers gemaakt dus.Weet je wel hoe lang het duurt,om een programma te schrijven?Die nietige Set-up hebben ze heus niet opnieuw ontworpen,om die vervolgens via een peer to peer machine aan te bieden!En wat gebreken in het programma betreft; Ik heb deze versie van LimeWire Pro al anderhalf jaar in gebruik zonder problemen,wel met het verschil,dat zoals gezegd,het programma aanzienlijk beter presteert,als de vorige versies,die geen Pro toevoeging hadden,en alle andere peer to peer zoekmachines.Ik aas nu nog op Morpheus Pro,maar daar zoekt iedereen op Internet zich suf naar(Zie de forums van the http://www.bugs.ws maar eens). Downloadsnelheid meestal 20kb/sec,met uitlopers naar 100kb/sec.Wat andere zoekmachines NIET gezocht kunnen krijgen,staat bij deze binnen enkele seconden op het zoekscherm. Lijsten van soms 160 zoekresultaten.Echt,ik ga niet over een nacht ijs met software.Ik draai Windows XP Professional,heb Panda Platinum Antivirus v7.07.02,een Zonelabs Pro 5.5062.011 Firewall,en als beveiliging Spysweeper 2.6.1 build 45 Full Programm en Ad Aware SE 6.2.0.208 alsmede Spybot SD de laatste versie,en ook de Privacy Master van Webroot,een professioneel programma tegen hackers.Popup blokkers van System Mechanic v5.0.1.0 en Webroot Pop Up Washer v2.1.0 Build 3. Buiten de Cracksites om,zie ik NOOIT Pop-ups verschijnen. Verders nog enige Windows schoonmaak en reparatie programma'tjes,zoal Dachshund,PC Bug Doctor,Error Nuker,HS Clean Disk Pro v4.35.297 ,System Mechanic v 5.0.1.0 en v 3.8d en ook nog de Accelerate van Webroot,sommige downloads gaan zoals als door Webroot beloofd wel 3x zo snel!Ik heb 1x Windows Xp met servicepack 2 gedraaid.NOOIT MEER!Mijn eigen software werkt toch wel eventjes beter!Alles handmatig ,ja,maar wel alles ZELF onder controle kunnen houden. |

| OK John, Ik zie dat je je veiligheids maatregelen neemt, da's erg verstandig. Enne ik ben het met je eens : XP sp2, weg ermee!  Maar wat ik probeerde duidelijk te maken is dat je het beste de laatste versie van Limewire kunt gebruiken omdat die het meest doorontwikkelt is, en dus voor jou als gebruiker én voor het netwerk beter is. Als je trouwens geheel legaal een betere verbinding wilt, dan moet je Phex eens proberen. Phex kun je helemaal zelf configureren, zoveel aansluitingen als je maar wilt. Kortom echt een programma voor de gevorderde gebruiker. Ik moet er wel eerlijk bijzeggen dat het niet zo mooi in elkaar zit als Limewire, maar het is echt de moeite van het proberen waard.
