In the future, it would be nice if there were a feature that would enable the user to configure limewire to drop any uploads that drop below a specified upload speed. I find it a waste of my upload slots to have 20 people trying to upload files that I share at speeds of 0 or 1 KB/s. Limewire should have an option where we can set minimum upload speed.

I see how such a feature would be good for freedloaders if the user could set the minimum upload speed at some atronomical number. To solve this, why not place a maximum limit on the possible minimum upload speed based on the connection type? (i.e. 1 KB/s for modem users, 30KB/S for Cable Modems, etc)?

Our fix for the 99% download problem in 2.4 should help this.
