 Yeah, I notice it sometimes when my Opera loads an applett. It takes so long to initialize the java compiler.... But then I dont get it why many ppl praise Java for their speed but say that things like ASP or VB are too slow. OK Java is crossplatform but its much much slower than even VB (for me).  |
