Does limewire (ANY version) come without adware, spyware, bundled software, etc.??????

I think Clean LimeWire and AquaLime are the only ones. You can also get the source from CVS at limewire.org and compile your own if you have ant and the j2sdk installed.

The Pro version of LimeWire (costing $9.50) has no advertising built in.

I have used the free limewire and the pro and have never found any spyware at all.
Scanned before and after with Spybot, Teatimer, Adaware, nothing, no adware found at all.

Thank you Lemon1. LW took out adware ages ago. I think it was taken out before version 4 came out over a year ago.

Been to St. Arnaud many a time by the way. I lived in Archdale (near Bealiba & Nattie Yallock) many years back.

If anybody comes across a version of LW with adware or spyware then it's either (A) not from the official LW site or/& (B) You're not using a working spykiller or adware utility. Too many spykillers don't work properly & some even have spywares themselves.
