It would be nice if you could activate the browse host function outside of the search window - i.e. on the files you are downloading from specific places and also on IP's you are uploading to (if their servent supports browse host of course!).

Yes, I agree. It would be nice if I just
could type in a known IP/port pair to ask for a host browse... And: Why doesn't the search result display offer a marker (like the chat smiley) to show which of the hosts support browsing? Regards, Tom. |

it would be nice to limit the returns of the browse host feature not to just unload everything the person has ... some folks share a great deal of information as well as mp3s ... browsing the host for like files would be cool ... but to get everythign might bog the network.

Let's hope LimeWire developers built expandability into the browse host feature, especially since it has been redone.
