Default an edit menu!!
every other program ever written has a edit menu with copy cut paste select all and clear, can't you guys throw that in there?

Yes, for example you can copy the text from a chat window but the only way to do it is with the keyboard shortcut. Having an Edit menu would make this capability more obvious.
