Does anyone think Limewire could use the Gnutella 2 network? I've used shareaza and I'm amazed how easy the clients connect and how many search results I get from them, and considering the # of users on G2. Is it an impossiblility or is it just not something that the developers want to implement?

It could be done but the developers decided not to implement it.

Limewire is far inferior to Shareaza, which to this day still supports the best of both networks. Shareaza comes with no ADS, or even spyware.

Shareaza will also not just stay current, Shareaza will always be at the forefront of any Gnutella technology.

Limewire's time is over, and so is Bearshare's time. This is the last battle of wits done by a dieing dynasty. Sooner or later they will either be bankrupt, or comply to the G2 standards.

Go to Shareaza and just skin it if you don't like the GUI, its that easy.

Shareaza connects fast to MP because it is the only client on this network.They do not have morpheus, Qtrax, Xolox, etc taking leaves places on ultrapeers. I see I have overstayed my welcome. Anyways, the truth is Shareaza is way better than Limewire, if you want proof then try both software's in tandem. Then you'll see the superior program.

Go ahead and reply with your nonsense, just remeber Limewire doesn't stand up to it's claim of being "The Most Sophistacated File - Sharing Application", for other Applications surpass it in every level.

As readers can see your pro Limewire, and I'm pro Shareaza. But I actually tried both Applications, and I truly can say that Limewire sucks. Thats my unbiased opinion too.

The least thing you could do is think before you post. When you share with super-Shareaza, how many Limewire/Aquisition hosts do you see compared to normal LimeWire? Well... in my case it's more than 50%. Acquisition is Mac ONLY. Heloohooo? Anybody realize something? Wrong audience!
