cmd-A and auto-resume

What happened to cmd-A? I want to be able to select all files at once, not by clicking at the top one and then shift-clicking at the one at the bottom.

I would also like to se an option like this:
"Force resume on all downloads every xxx minutes"
where you decide xxx.
