I think that there should be some way that you can resume an incomplete download if you accidentally kill it. Otherwise, there should be a warning message when you click "kill download" on a non-complete download to prevent accidents by idiots like me.

You can. Go to the Library Pane, select the incomplete file and click the resume button.
If the file is gone, look in the options/preferences for the "time to keep incomplete files" Cheers |
