Could you make a option to turn off the pop up window(that has the info in it) when you hold your cursor over a file in either the download window or in the library? If there is such a option, I have not found it yet.

Right-click on the column headers in whichever table you'd like to turn the pop-ups off, choose More Options, and uncheck 'Extended Tooltips' (or something to that effect). Tooltips will now only show if the data in the column is truncated ( meaning it has a ... at the end).
