Chat in Windows
It's pretty similar in Windows. Right click on column bar to enable the display to indicate whether a person has chat enabled and right click on a file displayed as a result of a search or one being downloaded/ uploaded to check same.

i was talking about a side box so we could all chat at the same time not the 1 on 1 u was showing lotr

sorry i never sed how i just give the picture
all u do is right click on the name bar and u will get the image i have just put on all u do is click chat then all ppl who have selected enable chat will show up to enable chat go click option then click chat then check the chat is on

a scrolly thingy to skim through songs would be so much handier, plus is there any way you can search through a song as its playing??

Yes definitely a way. Use another player instead of LW's player. lol
If you'd prefer, disable LW's player (Tools>Options>Player & untick player. Or for OSX that's LW's Prefs>Player) & then your default player will launch every time you launch a tune. But yes I agree. More control on LW's player would be good!!!
