can some one please tell me how to change a files name. since i downloaded limewire4.2.6. i havent been able to change the names the way i could with the old limewire. any suggestions?

lol Since the changes have been made it really has upset some people. The problem was that some people were making mistakes with changing filenames, etc. So the append filename option was removed. However it was replaced with the Describe button. This applies to mp3 id info but also movie files. So now you can add all those extra info's such as director, year, etc. of the movie or for mp3's change those details that are incorrect. As for the actual filename, you'll have to wait until the actual file completes dwnlding.

those ppl must of been idiots. i liked to have my songs in order by type now i actually have to look throught out the entire list when i want to hear a song. dont fix it ifs it not broke
