I would like to see no limit of the amount of letters that can be entered in the search "name" field. This isn't really a new feature but I find it kind of annoying.

Having search strings that are much larger than now will slow the gnutella network down considerably. That's the reason it is limited. Could you imagine waiting 10 times longer to get your search results back & with less results. Then when you downld it's not as fast as now due to all the xtra traffic. Xtra traffic would also mean taking longer to connect.
