Control click! works fine in Library window.

so i should not voice a valid point. the mouse works fine with an edit menu. like i said, even if i had one, i would not want to move it constantly between my tower and my laptop.

So, java programmers are apparently waiting for the developers of Java to offer such functionality.

Otherwise, each platform would need to write an Edit Menu which would be separate for each platform, with all the debugging and support writing separate platform-specific code would entail.

Since the main keyboard commands (select all, copy, paste) have been implemented, it's been easy to copy results, file names, bug reports and all the other useful data.

So, thanks to the devs for doing all they can: looks like they're making good use of the Pro support.

Cough it up gfox: time to pay ;)

btw Sam: can we please have an Edit Menu? :D
(and corrections to my misunderstandings will be appreciated too)

thanks for a thoughtfull response and reason as usual. it at least gives me an understanding for its absence.

copy a corrupted download and re-search, use a word from a text sorce or other title to surch with etc.

having a dropdown of past seaches would help to some degree or a re-seach botton when such a dnl title is highlighted.

that feeling will go away when you see that i want a menu bar edit menu and not just a contextual one:)

Untrue my eMac came wiht a 1 button mouse. All ya really have to do to get around it is hit the cntrl key and its just like pressing the second button.

Er that is a reply for a cupple posts up where hes like. "You probly cant even get a 1 button mouse anymore"

You think using it is a pain in the *** try programming in it lol. LOT harder then I thought it would be.

We'll see about an Edit in the main menu bar. It's possible, but given that the contextual one exists & it's the most important, it's going to take a while before other more important things get finished and this can be worked on.

thanks, all i wanted was to know if it were even a consideration.
