chat problem

I have just downloaded 1.7 version but i can't find the way to chat with people while exchanging files. Would you please explain me how to do? Thank you

If you're an 1.7 client we can try to chat each other while excanging our cool music!!!

We will be adding some type of visual indicator for chattability in the future, although perhaps not until LimeWire 1.8, or possibly in LimeWire 1.7c (LimeWire 1.6b is about to be released in beta -- it only has very minor changes to 1.7).

That said, if you really want to see people who you can chat with, try searching for "LimeWire 1.7." People returning results should be 1.7 users. If you right-click on their search result, you should see the chat option. You can also right-click to chat with 1.7 users who you are downloading from or who are uploading from you.

Does anyone knows or experienced on what should happened
after selecting the "chat with host" option .
A new window dedicated to chat maybe ?
or must i look at a specific place ?

For my part , i select the option and.........nothing .
What must i do ?
or does it really works ?

I think that if the person has disabled chat, the little chat window will not pop up for you. I may be wrong here, though... anyone know for sure?
