Sometimes after an hour or 2 Lime Wire starts to move slowlly or even sometimes gives the imppresion that it has crashed and the harddisk led goes red. After a few seconds starts to respond again to commands... This problem can be anoyng some times... because it really looks like it's crashed...
I don't know if this is about the java but it will be nice if this problem will be part of the past

I had the same problem but I upgraded to the latest version of java and the problem went away, you should try that and see if it works.

There is a memory leak if you minimize limewire and bring it back up it will clear the leak and should start preforming as before. Allot of java programs have memory leaks no just LimeWire.
