Lightbulb Urgently Needed Improvements

As a previous user of Audiogalaxy's Satellite I think LimeWire could learn something from those guys.

1. Save download list - a kind of wish list if you please.
2. Download Bandwidth Throttle.
3. Help files located on Local hard drive and not through HTML links.
4. Some means of identifying MP3 bitrate i.e. whether it is 128kbps 192kbps etc.
5. Some way of pausing the download files so that you can perform other internet functions quicker... kind of linked to No.2 The only way you can do it at the moment is to drop the connection and dialup again. We haven't all got T3 connections - UNFORTUNATELY!!!
6. What is the point of a folder for incomplete downloads? Useless unless you can resume the download to complete them... sort it out guys.

I find this folder useful for quickly locating & checking that the song I'm d/l is the right one. Have a quick play before I get too much of the possibly bad/wrong version.

Default Re: Urgently Needed Improvements

option 6 - The ability to resume failed downloads is already there (at least in 1.8c) the file that you originally started to download is stored in the incomplete folder, and if it failes for any reason you can do a search on the filename and resume the download.

limitations are that the filename has to be the same and the size of the file has to be the same.
