Similar to how The Firefox browser's functionality can be enhanced and customized via "Extensions", Limewire could benefit from this.

this would be great, we can have a open source project as well where programmers can donate time to extensions with a great data base for us to have helpful optional objects. This would also take alot less stress off limewire's staffs hands - and we would have results alot quicker. The staff would have to check all the coding to make sure nothing malicous becomes a problem, and major updates, especially making sure the new limewire can handle such advanced features...this would definatley make limewire the best p2p program available. Right now, I feel its a tie between limewire and ares galaxy(ares lets you connect to 3 main p2p networks)
