Limewire does connect to gnutella 1. Thats the only network it connects to.

Just to avoid any confusion this thread explains exactly the different Gnutellas, and a little of the reasons why some are used more than others ..etc.. I'll let you read rather than try to explain and tie myself in knots lol http://www.limewire.org/forum/showth...light=gnutella
