I am scanning the files I download for viruses and sure enough I found three. The file was: Headline Fonts 3.5 distributed by 24.205.88.135:41098 (230). The virus was W32.Alcra.F.
Another file with the same worm: "Top 100 Fonts (Graffiti, Horror, Handwritten &More) - LegalTorrents.zip". I was not able to access the host information. "20 Different Grafitti Fonts For PC & MAC-LegalTorrents.zip" Host: 75.82.100.144:10419 (1658) I clicked the buttom "Junk", but I feel there should be a button "Virus Report" that allows users who have discovered viruses in the files they've downloaded. I feel the distributors of such files should be blocked from all access to other unsuspecting downloaders.

Best thing to do is to leave .exe .rar .wma and .zip files alone. They are known to be nothing but trouble. You can filter these out.
Go to Tools > Options > Filters > Keywords. Add the extensions then Apply and OK. Also see LOTR's suggestions and Link below. Loaded with good info. ![]() http://www.gnutellaforums.com/open-d...uld-aware.html. . |
